Hello Everyone! My name is Sierra Burrison. I am a recent graduate of Hampton University. In the fall I will be attending the University of Hartford to get my Doctorate in Child Psychology. Since I was 16 years old I have worked with children through various camps and afterschool programs. I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, and watching Netflix in my free time. I am so excited to meet everyone this summer and hope to make Terrapin STEM Camp a memorable experience for all the campers!
Hi, Terrapin STEM Campers! My name is Emilee Holden and I graduated this spring from Towson University with a psychology degree. I plan to continue my studies in clinical psychology with a focus on adolescent mental health! In my free time, I like to swim and enjoy exploring nature preserves in Maryland. I am looking forward to another fun summer at camp. I can't wait for the talent show, the carnival, sidewalk art, and let's not forget Friday Super Soakers and the rubber chicken competition! It's going to be a terrific summer!
Hey Terrapin Family! My name is Brianna Carter and I am so happy that I get to meet all of you. Currently, I am a Psychology major at Morgan State University wanting to pursue Occupational Therapy. I love working with kids and helping them grow. I have been working with children since a young age mostly in summer camps doing a number of different activities. I like reading, going out to try different restaurants with my friends, watching HBO Max, and cooking different meals. I LOVE cooking and finding different recipes for my friends and family to try. I am eager to begin camp with you all and can’t wait to have a great summer!
Hi Terrapin Family!! My name is Brian Carter. I’m really excited to start my summer off by meeting all of you. I’ve been involved with sports since I was about 5 years old; learning ,teaching and developing life skills all up until last year. I’ve had the honor of playing football at the collegiate level and it was, without a doubt, one of the most consistent and unforgettable experience of my life. I’ve worked with kids (of all ages) ever since I was in adolescence myself. I adore working with children, helping all people with everyday tasks, and surrounding myself with positive energy. At the end of the summer, my goal is to enter the army head strong with the hopes of becoming a medic. With that, it shows just how strong my constant desire to help people on their best & worst days really is. In my free time, I love playing video games, exercising, hanging out with friends, and eating good food, specifically Chipotle. Again, I can't wait to kick off the summer with high energy and to meet all of you. Thank you all for this amazing opportunity!
Hi everyone, My name is Catcher Salazar, I’m a graduating senior from Anne Arundel County and am excited to spend some of the summer with you all! I am super passionate about biology and will be majoring in biochemistry at the University of Southern California this fall. In high school, I founded a science club where I taught members about subjects across the various fields of science. I’m also interested in a variety of art-related subjects—I love watching movies, reading books, going to art museums, and listening to music! I’m always open to pursuing new interests, though. I’m looking forward to this summer at camp!
Hi guys!! I am so excited to meet all of you! My name is Carina Ming and I am a STEM student at Stevens Institute of Technology currently studying Civil Engineering and I love EVERYTHING STEM. I also love everything sports including basketball, football, and swimming as well as anything superhero related! If your favorite superhero is Superman I’m going to have to politely argue with you (Marvel is better!!!). I enjoy goofing off with my brother and doing music trivia with my dad on long car rides! As a STEM student I also enjoy being a mentor and role model for kids younger than me in any capacity and I hope to bring that energy to the Terrapin STEM & Sports Camp! I am looking forward to a fantastic summer!!
