PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Our mission at Terrapin STEM Camp is to provide educational experiences in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) for students in grades K-5. Students focus on three separate STEM topics a week. Children are encouraged to experiment and to learn at their own pace.
Students, who have completed grades 6, 7, or 8 may choose to participate in Terrapin STEM Camp's Leadership program.
All programs are flexible and engage students by intermingling STEM topics with general camp activities. Students' days consist of STEM opportunities integrated with other activities such as swimming and arts & crafts.
K-5 PROGRAMS
Program I is intended for children who have completed grades K & 1. Subject matter is introductory, but may be modified, based on the interest and experience of participants. Although Terrapin STEM Camp offers flexible registration, we highly recommend choosing a program based on your child's completed grade level.

Program II is designed for children who have completed grades 2 & 3 and features a more challenging curriculum. It is assumed that students, at this level, have had some experience with the engineering process and a rudimentary exposure to coding. Subject matter may be modified, based on the interest and experience of participants.
|
Program III is our most advanced level. Students who have completed grades 4 & 5 are encouraged to participate in STEM projects that extend their understanding of topics. Subject matter may be modified, based on the interest and experience of participants.
