K-6 PROGRAMS
Program I is intended for children who have completed grades K & 1. Subject matter is introductory, but may be modified, based on the interest and experience of participants. Although Terrapin STEM Camp offers flexible registration, we highly recommend choosing a program based on your child's completed grade level.
Program II is designed for children who have completed grades 2 & 3 and features a more challenging curriculum. It is assumed that campers have had some experience with the engineering process and a rudimentary exposure to coding. Subject matter may be modified, based on the interest and experience of participants.
Program III is our most advanced level. Campers who have completed grades 4 & 5 are encouraged to participate in STEM projects that extend their understanding of topics. Campers participate in 3D printing, code games in SCRATCH, and should be well versed in the engineering process. Subject matter may be modified, based on the interest and experience of participants.
